Bringing Joy to God and Our Neighbors
Sundays at 11:00
It's important for us to worship together as a community of faith. Every time we gather, we're reminded that we're a part of something bigger than ourselves. God has written us into a story of relentless and unconditional love.
We are shaped by Scripture, our Baptismal Covenant, and our engagement with the world around us. Worship is part of our response to God's love for us and all of Creation.
Saturdays at 5:30
Beginning May 6th, Oakley United Methodist Church will offer a contemporary worship service in the fellowship hall. There will be a praise band and a whole new way to worship God.
All are welcome...really!
Come as you are. There is no dress code - wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
When you come to worship, expect to be greeted by your neighbors with a friendly smile. We worship in the traditions - hymns and liturgies - but we seek to make worship vibrant and engaging for today's world.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. And we have special worship services throughout the year, like Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, Easter, Christmas Eve, and others, like Confirmation, welcoming new members, and Baptisms.
Our choir is a focal point, and we welcome those who sing like a pro and those who like to sing just for the fun of it! Simply come to a rehearsal on Wednesday evenings at 7pm and join the fun!
