This Christmas Season
Members of Oakley United Methodist Church are making a brighter Christmas for local children through Asheville Buncombe County Community Mission’s (ABCCM) Christmas Angel Program. For over forty years ABCCM has reached out to those in need to provide help for children at Christmas. Families in crisis through our Crisis Ministries:   Families living at the Steadfast House, Families served through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families. We also reach out to assist other areas where children may “fall through the cracks” such as local schools and military resource centers. We do not want any child to miss the joy of Christmas morning. Many agencies have had funding cuts and are unable to help as much this year. This allows our members an even bigger opportunity to help ABCCM to reach children that may otherwise be missed. It is a difficult situation when families find themselves in crisis this time of the year. For more information, you may contact ABCCM at 828.259.5300.
